It's a chance to see what people say about the company, good and bad. We receive praise from our peers and disdain from others. Some days we share a joke overheard in the office, other days we speak about the latest in our work. Our social media strategy is simple: add value, be personable, and never stop learning.
Through our blog content and social media channels, we want to make sure that we are constantly adding value to our audience. We strive to be beneficial to people who are engaging with the content we produce, which we hope in turn will generate interest in our company. We have a great team, whose members bring insight into various disciplines across the spectrum, and we aim to be generous in sharing that insight.
Even though our content lives online, we want it to be an extension of who we are in the real world. This extension aligns with one of our standards in particular, "People Over Profits." We want feeds to read as if it’s from a friend of yours. We never want to come off as highbrow or all-knowing. Sharing our insight is important, but exhibiting our culture and celebrating others in our space is priority over all.
We are knowledgeable but not all-knowing; we are experts but we are novices at the same time. We use our social media accounts not only to showcase our thoughts and opinions, but also to research and curate information from our audience and peers. We ask a lot of questions so that we can learn as much from you all as you may learn from us. We are just scratching the surface in the acquiring of knowledge.
Social media is important to us because it allows us to to be a part of a community whose purpose is bigger than our own. We want to create value by being personable, and acknowledging that we do not know it all. So, if you please, follow us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Dribbble.
