We need help. Not the kind where you call someone because you're worried about us. The kind where we have awesome projects and you want to be a part of them. Read along and see if you think that might be you.

The time has come for us to look for some additional assistance on the creative front. We need help with both design and development. We're looking for 2 people but if you fit both roles, just let us know. Here's the lowdown.

We need help with overall design work including all print, web and specifically logo design / branding. Here are some things you will be throwing down:

• Various print design
• Creating new & modifying existing designs
• Various levels of website design
• Branding / Logo Design

Designers should be able to say yes to most the following:

• Do you consider yourself creative?
• Is branding / identity one of your strengths?
• Are you comfortable with tight deadlines?
• Have you worked remotely before?
• Do you write design articles and/or post on sites like Dribbble / Forrst for fun?

You must have the following:

• (Goes without saying but) Extensive knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
• A portfolio that we can review ( Web format preferred )
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Good communication skills
• Tiger-like work ethic

We need help primarily with front-end markup and basic ExpressionEngine site implementation. Here are some tasks you'd be rocking:

• Marking up standards-based sites from provided PSD designs
• Using Javascript-fu to make sites more interactive on the client side
• Breaking up static site designs into ExpressionEngine templates
• Working with the Lead Developer to implement additional EE features
• Assisting in the support of existing Focus Lab, LLC client needs

Developers should be able to say yes to most the following:

• Are you comfortable working with Git?
• Do you use tools like YSlow to shave of page load time during development?
• Would you consider yourself a fast coder?
• Have you ever threatened the life of any version of Internet Explorer?
• Have you ever argued with a designer about why something is positioned the way it is?
• Are you generally an awesome person?

You will be employed on an hourly contractor basis. We would love if you were generally available during regular business hours EST but that is not a requirement.
